The Constituent Statement for the Revolutionary Patriotic Democratic Youth Organization KIFAH
Many Arab countries are witnessing upheavals and protest movements due to the crisis the Global Imperialism is facing.
The exploited and oppressed classes and youth join in this class battle with courage and sacrifice to express their opposition to the policy of exploitation, plunder, starvation and repression the Imperialist powers and their Zionist tool and Reactionist agents pursue against the oppressed working class and popular masses in the world.
The global Youth’s, refuting slavery, engagement in these class and national battles gradually expanding in time and place proves the depth of the Capitalist crisis in its final stage; the stage of Imperialism and the exposure of the fictional Capitalist Eternal Paradise the theorists of Bourgeoisie, such as Fukuyama, have promoted in their misleading demagogic writings. The toiling Labor classes in the Arab World and especially the working class and its youth categories are engaged in a fight of a hierarchical and national nature against Imperialism, its Zionist tool and its local agents ranging from Bourgeois agents to senior landlords and bureaucracies associated to them.
The Revolutionary Youth in the Arab world did wonders in its fight against colonization and its local agents in Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen and other countries, making some serious sacrifices of martyrs, wounded comrades and detainees and effectively contributing in the ignition of the valiant popular upheavals many Arab countries have been witnessing since December 17th 2010.
The Revolutionary Youth in Tunisia started their struggle against direct and indirect forms of colonization after March 20th 1956 aiming at achieving the patriotic democratic liberation and establishing Socialism. It has confronted, and still is, the system’s non-patriotic, non-popular and non-democratic policies beginning with the Constitution Party then RCD and currently Annahdha Party and effectively engaged in the uprisings of 1968, 26th January 1978 and 3rd January 1984, January 2008 in the mining basin, December 17th and January 14th 2011 and popular protests most of the Tunisian cities have witnessed. It also led demonstrations in the Tunisian cities, rural areas, universities, high schools and training centers sacrificing huge numbers of martyrs and wounded people.
WATAD Socialist Revolutionary Youth contributed in the pupils, students and peoples’ movement by supporting the other militant forces to fight against the ruling system which serves
Imperialism, sacrificing many martyrs namely the comrades Fadhel Sassi, Mohamed Hameni and others who well embodied the epic struggle and sacrifice for the sake of the land, freedom and Patriotic Dignity as well as it contributed in promoting the political and revolutionary awareness of the peoples and engaged in all kinds of field struggles such as al Kasabah one and two sit-ins and the creation of the Revolution Protection councils.
To crown this freedom path of struggle and to achieve the revolution that the 17th December and 14th January Intifada gave birth to and in an endeavor to root it and turn it into a national democratic revolution with a socialist horizon able to radically change the current social system in Tunisia for the sake of the workers and the rest of the toiling people, the Revolutionary Patriotic Democratic Youth Organization KIFAH is established on the following bases and principles:
* The Revolutionary Patriotic Democratic Youth Organization KIFAH is a national popular democratic revolutionary Organization guided by the scientific, materialist, dialectic and historical method and scientific socialism. It is open to all the patriotic revolutionary Progressist youth. It essentially follows all revolutionary forms to fight against Imperialism and its Zionist tool and the betraying ruling system favoring the colonial authority over our people in Tunisia and attempting to eternalize its slavery; its sole aim is the contribution in achieving the national liberation and the establishment of Socialism.
* KIFAH Organization sides with the Democratic, Progressist Revolutionary Youth Organizations in the Arab countries in their struggle to contribute in the liberation of all the Arab World from all forms of direct, indirect or occupational colonization in Palestine and achieve the Arab popular unity. It works hard to thwart the Zionist Normalization in all its forms.
* KIFAH Organization supports the struggle of the Revolutionary, Democratic, Progressist Youth Organizations worldwide against Imperialism and its Zionist tool and Reactionist policies, and against all aggressive colonial wars. It works accordingly to support the movements of national liberation and Socialist movements in the world and contribute in building and enhancing the unity of the militant nations among youth, workers and peoples of the world for national and socialist liberation.
* The organization fights against all aspects of discrimination based on nationality, creed, gender, color or others.
* The Organization works in order to achieve the unity of the National Democratic Revolutionary and Progressist youth’s work and to find sophisticated means to consolidate this unity and improve its public fight against the people’s internal and external enemies.
KIFAH Organization is militantly trying with all means to:
1- Establish a national economy that serves the people and solves their basic issues.
2- Protect the toiling workers’ rights from the Economic Liberal attack of the comprador Bourgeoisie which represents global monopolies.
3- Thwart the imperialist globalization options such as ‘the structural reform’, ‘Partnership Agreement with the European Union’, ‘Agreements of the World trade Organization’ and other plundering imperialist projects and their various forms (privatization, cession, “Rehabilitation”, “Handing”, “Sickness Insurance”, “Operating Flexibility”, “LMD” System, etc…)
4- Strive for agricultural reform and the review of the agricultural laws in favor of the interests of the youth, poor peasants and agricultural laborers in rural areas in general.
5- Improve the living conditions of the youth by improving wages and granting them adequate housing and convenient transportation, free health welfare and education and various social services that ease their life conditions and promote stability in the community.
6- Establish public, popular, free, compulsory, national, democratic and secular education, in all educational stages, that includes the psychological, intellectual, physical, technical, Arabization Standardization, literacy, scientific research improvement and continuous support to connect it to economy and the educational policy adequate review to grant it and involve all those concerned with the educational affair.
7- Solve the spreading unemployment phenomenon and fight to integrate the working youth in their jobs on the basis of permanent appointment and well organize the unemployed youth, especially degree-holders, and unify their demands and fights.
8- Defend the gains of the upheaval of 14 January especially concerning the public, individual, syndical and democratic liberties of the National Revolutionist and Progressist Youth and the interests of the toiling peoples in their general struggle to break free from the class exploitation and Imperialist oppression.
9- Respect the right for association and trade union activities in all the global associations especially in the private sector and provide them with full protection to elect their syndical representatives and fight to create an organization for all the unemployed and the marginalized and establish a trade union for the pupils that will organize the youth in high schools and secondary schools, unify their struggles and defend their demands.
10- Conserve the public sector and solve the issues behind its decay, develop it and enhance its role since it is the sole sector that is able to solve the youth and population’s problems and protect them from any form of privatization.
11- Resist discrimination and inequality between men and women in rights and duties and improve the social conditions of women and working women especially.
12- Prevent child labor for children below 18 years old and include this in labor laws, protect childhood and provide nutrition, medicines to put an end to malnutrition and the illnesses that may result from it.
13- Fight against Reactionist opinions and culture, be they liberal or obscurantist, that may damage the youth and people’s conscience, work on spreading the enlightening national revolutionist and Progressist thought, establish a national scientific Progressist popular culture ready to improve the political awareness of the toiling population and root the national Arab identity, defend the people’s right to self-determination and open the door for committed artistic creativity in all the fields.
14- Endeavor to put an end to the reasons behind the increasing immigration and clandestine immigration and apply all the means necessary to enhance the expatriates’ children’s connection with their homeland and their original belonging.
The deputies of the Constituent Congress while following the progress on the Arab, regional and global levels:
1- Salute the workers and oppressed peoples’ struggles worldwide, the Youth Against the Plundering Imperialist Globalization on top.
2- Support the youth, the revolutionary powers and the peoples’ fights in Egypt, Iraq, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia and all the other Arab countries against the imperialist attack and its Zionist tool, the Reactionist puppet systems, including the obscurantist terrorist movements
3- Call the youth and all the National Revolutionist and Progressist powers to augment the fights and the field movements to overthrow the Reactionist betraying ruling coalition, Annahdha on top, in an attempt to topple the ruling system that serves Imperialism.
